GR Employment Ltd is looking for the Drivers Mate in the Ise Valley Industrial Estate, the Wellingborough area, for a well-established organisation, unloading parcels from heavy goods vehicles.

We’re looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking consistent work with a bit of flexibility built in.

Shift Patterns Available:

Monday to Friday: The shift will start at 6:00 AM and finish when the route is complete

Pay rate: £12.71 per hour

Loading and unloading goods, including heavy lifting, while ensuring items are handled safely

Supporting the driver during deliveries, including navigation and delivery paperwork

Ensuring goods are secure by checking items against delivery sheets and securing the load

Interacting with customers, confirming delivery times, obtaining signatures, and placing items inside premises when required

Assisting with route planning, diversions, and efficient delivery scheduling

Carrying out minor vehicle checks, keeping the cab tidy, and assisting with basic maintenance

Handling returns in line with company procedures

Following all health and safety guidelines, including correct manual handling

No prior experience is necessary, as training will be provided.

Own transport to and from work.

 Statutory holiday entitlement, pro rata
