GR Employment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for a Courier Driver based in the Electric Avenue area of Lincoln.

About the Role

As a Courier Driver, you will be responsible for the daily collection and delivery of shipments to and from customers across your designated route.

This is a multi-drop delivery role, with drivers typically completing between 20 and 60 deliveries and collections per day, depending on the geographical area covered.

As a frontline representative of the business, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring all shipments are handled safely, securely, and professionally.

You will be measured on customer satisfaction and the successful completion of time-definite deliveries and collections. The role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Whilst you will normally work within an allocated route, flexibility is essential, as you may occasionally be required to support alternative routes to meet operational requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver and collect shipments safely and efficiently.Complete between 20 and 60 deliveries and collections per day.Accurately scan and process shipments using handheld devices.Provide excellent customer service at all times.Follow designated delivery routes and schedules.Ensure shipments are handled securely and with care.Maintain accurate delivery records and associated paperwork.Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects promptly.Work efficiently to meet customer and operational deadlines.Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues, and management.Support alternative routes and operational requirements when required.Comply with all company procedures, road traffic legislation, and health and safety requirements.What We're Looking ForFull UK Driving Licence.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Good planning, organisational, and time-management abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Positive attitude and strong work ethic.Good attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to make sound decisions while working under pressure.No previous courier experience required, as full training will be provided.Security training will be provided where required.Why Join Us?No previous courier experience required.Full induction and ongoing training provided.Opportunity to gain valuable logistics and delivery experience.Regular weekday working pattern.Overtime opportunities available.Work with a leading logistics provider.Supportive team environment and ongoing consultant support.Driving RequirementsHold a valid Full UK Driving Licence.Be legally entitled to drive in the UK.Have the right to work in the UK.Due to the client's motor insurance requirements, applicants must meet the insurer's eligibility criteria, which currently include being aged 21 or over.Have no more than 6 live penalty points on their driving licence.Hold a driving licence that meets the client's and insurer's eligibility requirements.Successfully complete any required driving licence, identity, reference, and background checks.Physical Requirements

This role may involve:
