Courier Driver (2)

GR Employment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a leading logistics client for a Courier Driver based at Unit 1 Crompton Close, Basildon, Essex, SS14 3AY.

• £14.73 per hour
• Monday to Friday
• 09:00am - Finish
• Approximately 45 hours per week
• Weekly pay

• Multi-drop deliveries and collections
• Scan and process shipments using handheld devices
• Provide excellent customer service
• Complete vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
• Follow planned delivery routes and schedules
• Handle parcels safely and securely

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Aged 21 or over (insurance requirement)
• No more than 9 live penalty points
• Previous courier or delivery driving experience preferred
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Right to work in the UK

• Full training and induction provided
• Start with a smaller delivery route while training
• Deliveries will gradually increase as your confidence and experience grow
• Opportunity to build up to around 60 deliveries per day
• Ongoing support from your dedicated consultant

• Temporary assignment with ongoing work available
• Manual handling and parcel lifting required
• Security screening checks required
• Applicants must be able to provide a 5-year employment, education and/or address history
