GR Employment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for a Courier Driver based in Crawley.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, professional, and customer-focused individuals to join a leading logistics operation. The role is offered on a temporary basis, with regular full-time hours, weekly pay, and ongoing support from your dedicated consultant.

Full training and support will be provided.

About the Role

As a Courier Driver, you will be responsible for the daily collection and delivery of shipments to and from customers across your designated route.

This is a multi-drop role, involving approximately 20 to 60 deliveries and collections per day, depending on the route and location. As a frontline representative of the business, you will be expected to provide exceptional customer service while ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely, accurately, and on time.

You will be measured on customer satisfaction and the successful completion of time-definite deliveries and collections. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make sound decisions while working under pressure.

You will also be responsible for scanning shipments, maintaining accurate records, and working efficiently to meet operational deadlines.

Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver and collect shipments safely and efficiently.Complete approximately 20 to 60 deliveries and collections per day.Accurately scan and process shipments using handheld devices.Provide excellent customer service at all times.Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed within agreed timescales.Follow designated delivery routes and schedules.Maintain accurate delivery records and associated paperwork.Ensure the secure handling of all shipments.Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.Comply with all road traffic laws and company procedures.Support operational requirements as required.What We're Looking ForFull UK Driving Licence.Strong customer service and communication skills.Good planning and organisational abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Positive attitude and strong work ethic.Good attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.Previous multi-drop courier experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.Applicants must be comfortable driving a Long Wheelbase (LWB) van.Security training will be provided where required.Physical Requirements

This role may involve:

Frequent vehicle entry and exit throughout the day.Lifting, carrying, and moving parcels.Manual handling activities.Working to time-sensitive delivery schedules.Driving RequirementsHold a valid Full UK Driving Licence.Be legally entitled to drive in the UK.Have the right to work in the UK.Due to the client's motor insurance requirements, applicants must meet the insurer's eligibility criteria, which currently include being aged 21 or over.Have no more than 9 live penalty points on their driving licence.Have no unspent major motoring convictions.Successfully complete any required driving licence, identity, reference, and background checks.Security Screening Requirements
