Shunter Driver ( 2P)
GR Employment Ltd is looking for a shunter driver to work for one of our clients based in Raunds. This is a temporary position for the peak period; however, for the right candidate, it could lead to a permanent placement.
The ideal candidate will hold the following skills and experience:
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence with category C.
- Digital tachograph and CPC cards
- Have a minimum of 12 months of experience
- Be professional at all times
- Have a flexible approach to work
- No more than 3 points on your licence
- No INI10, TT99 or DR10
Shifts:
Monday to Friday: 10:30 PM - 8:00 AM
Pay rate:
Standard Day Shift (6AM – 6PM): £16.36 per hour
Night Shift (6PM – 6AM): £19.08 per hour
Overtime Rate: £24.54 per hour
Please note that night shift pay applies only to hours worked between 6PM and 6AM.

You will be shunting trailers within the yard and placing empty trailers onto doors at the beginning of the shift. Moving trailers off the door when full and replacing them with new empties.

Full UK driving license.
12 months of experience required.
For insurance purposes, you must be at least 21 years old and have no more than 9 penalty points on your driving licence within the last 3 years
